So reading today about how Tesco have had to reach out to over 600,000 clubcard holders after they found a security issue.
A database had been breached and the details had been tried on their websites. They have said no financial information was compromised, or their systems had not been breached themselves, this is more of a precaution.
A statement from them says "Our internal systems picked this up quickly and we immediately took steps to protect our customers and restrict access to their accounts."
I suppose for this people need to be contacted as there are so many people that use the same username and password combination on multiple sites.
