Nintendo Playstation sells for a tidy profit
So it seems Nintendo Playstation done ok, the owner bought it for $75 and sold it for $300,000. This seems to be a unique sell.
This came about after a short lived collaboration between the two giants, it was meant to add a CD drive to the Super Nintendo.
"People had kind of heard about this story - Nintendo and Sony partnering up to make the next, or the sequel to, the Super Nintendo," said Conor Clarke of the National Videogame Museum in Sheffield.
"But nobody really had confirmation that it existed. So it was mythical."
It appeared they had a partnership, then as Sony announced the deal, Nintendo went with Phillips. Their console bombed and this sort of spurned Sony on and they went on to create the Playstation, which has not done too bad.
