The FBI wouldn't allow Apple to allow encryption feature

So reading that it appears that Apple wanted to give us the capability to fully encrypt our phone backups a couple of years ago, but never implemented this because of the FBI.

Reuters apparently spoke to six different sources, this included FBI personnel an employees.

There has been several requests to be handed over for a variety of cases but these not easily handed over by Apple, it appears it’s on a case by case basis.

I can’t believe, or don’t want to believe that the FBI pressure is the only reason users can’t fully encrypt your own backups on iCloud.
