So BBM has gone

What was once the crown jewels of Blackberry, which is why so many kids etc had blackberry devices as well as corporate users has now been shutdown. It appears WhatsApp on Android and iOS devices has seen the end of the consumer version of this.

The Enterprise version is still alive and well, but for how long? Blackberry seems to be dwindleing down at an alarming rate, and with an Enterprise Version of WhatsApp coming soon, will that kill them off totally.
