Following on from Apple who recently put up the prices of the Apps in the app store as well as the hardware they sell here in the UK, Microsoft have now followed suit.
They have increased the price of the surface tablet range from anywhere between £150 to £400 depending on the model. It had already raised the price of their business software and cloud offerings.
They too have said the increases are because of the weak pound against the dollar. Other companies that have done this are HTC, DELL, HP and soon Sonos will do the same.
I just hope if the pound does get stronger they will reflect this in the price changes then.
