Automatic Backups of Drafts

Automatic Backups of Drafts

I have just seen this tweet from the people that make the iOS app Drafts.  If you don't use this app you should spend the time and the small amount of money to purchase this because with some of the automation things you can do with this app is truly amazing.

I could spend some time describing the application but they sum it up quite well

Drafts is a different kind of note taking app. In Drafts, text comes first – open the app and get a new, blank draft. Get your text down quickly, then act on it with powerful actions.

So if you are a user of the app and wasn't aware of this feature then I highly recommend you pause racing the article, look at the picture below and enable backups of your actions.

I have to say on iOS this is probably the first or second most used app.  Anything I am thinking, any tasks, notes, meeting minutes, even code snippets I think of always get started in this app.  I then process it later, whether that means putting it into Evernote or Omnifocus or even copying into a post for the site.  Because of the actions you can set up with the app the possibilities are immense of what you can do, especially when you pair it Workflow.

I am always interested in feedback so please feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me  here.  If you would like to submit a quick tip  with full credit and links back to your site then also feel free to contact me.
