1Password iconRecently my disk drive had been filling up quite rapidly, mainly down to me not having enough time to keep up with my pod/screen casts. I had heard about Daisydisk, so I thought I would give that a go, you can read my review of daisy disk here.
It had showed I had over 500mb of backups of my 1password keychain, clearing this out it saved me half a gig, not exactly earth shattering in this day, but every little helps.
The location for the backups can be found in
/Library/Application Support/1Password/Backups
If you can't see your Library folder, or you are not sure on how to get access to it you can use this tip here.
I am always interested in feedback so please feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me here. If you would like to submit a quick tip with full credit and links back to your site then also feel free to contact me.
Yesterday after I posted this tip I was contacted on Twitter by the lovely people from 1Password.

I looked last night and so you can, once you go into preferences, click on the backup icon and you are then faced with the screen below.
1Password Backup Preferences
From here you can change the backup to run either every
- Day
- Week
- Month
You also have the option to change the amount of backups to keep, you can choose
- All
- 10
- 50
- 100
I would like to thank @1Password for passing on this tip.
