Strange review request this week.
Last couple of days had a strange review request. I was emailed last Thursday, 30th July and asked would I be interested in review this companies products, they said if I am interested they will send a review unit out.
I looked at them, they sell them on Amazon, look good I thought, something I could work with. I replied the next day, Friday 31st saying, I would be very interested in reviewing the products.
Then on the morning of the 1st August, I woke up to a weird reply. Straight replying to these two other mails,
“I am glad to have your reply.
I am sorry the blog traffic is too low, which is not that helpful. Do you have other resources?
Or it would be better if you will could share using experience with a short video on Amazon. I will refund after the review.
Do you agree with the deal?
I look forward to your reply.”
So without sending any details about traffic to the site, wasn’t even requested, they determined I was not big enough for them to review, however if I buy it from them and review it then they will refund me. This has to be the most strange request I have had before.
They have since replied once more saying that it will be acceptable if I write a post and put a video review up for them.
Think I will pass up this opportunity!. Please get in contact with your strangest requests for your sites, I suppose this is better then some mails I get which are along the lines of this is our product, can’t send you one but here is a press release please put this on your site.
