I have recently been given a gift of an Amazon Fire TV Stick. This was from my parents so we can all enjoy Disney+ subscription. They bought it and you have 4 devices you can use this with, so they have two, and me and my brother a gift as well.
So now my kids can get the full Star Wars education, from Episode 1 all the way through (It has already started!)
The reason for this little post (Full review to follow) is that I was quite shocked when setting this up. When you go through the set up, it finds the network and you select join. Then you need to put in your password, however this is what shocked me, it doesn’t mask the password. Like most things as soon as you put in a character it turns it into a star or a circle so your password can’t really be seen.
I was quite surprised by this, now my kids don’t know the wifi password, so I had to send them out the room while I typed this in. The other item that got me after this is do I want to send my Network SSID and password to Amazon so they can store this and use it for future purchases to make the setup easier, thanks but no.
Once the Firestick is setup, downloading the Disney+ and the Netflix app. When you put your password is here they mask it, just surprised me the stick didn’t do this.
