Emails and Unsubscribing

So recently with all the GDPR changes, everyone is emailing all the people on the lists saying do you still want to hear from us, or unsubscribe if you like.

So why do some places make it so difficult, and the worst one of them all, you click unsubscribe, and then it says it may take up to 30 days for this to be cancelled, really 30 days !!!!.

I have been on a mission recently to unsubscribe to most of the crap mails I get from places I have shopped once before or places I got to regularly but still just send me crap all the time.

Some of them have been so simple and Kudos to you to make it easy for people, for some where they make you login and answer all these questions, or do you want to change the way you get them, frequency etc, this just tends to annoy me more.
