Sennheiser CX880 In-ear headphones

Sennheiser CX880This is my review of the Sennheiser CX 880 Premium Ear-Canal Earphones with Lifelike Stereo Sound and High Passive Noise Attenuation .  I have been using these earphones for a good few months and these have been the best earphones I have used in terms of sound quality, and comfort.  Usually earphones do not last that long, for one reason or another I always seem to break them, it always seem to be the one ear crackling then you lose the sound in that one ear first.  The only other earphones that have lasted a long time was the pair that came with my iPhone, which was amazing.

I have also had a problem with the fit of earphones, they never seem to fit my ear properly.  I have always been dubious about spending a lot on them as like I say I just seem to go through them every couple of months.

As they do fit my ears perfectly it cancels out a good majority of the background noise, which is great considering what some people talk about on the train.  I also like that the volume can easily be adjusted with the volume control on the earphones

When I was looking for some new ones, I turned to twitter and @Mygrayburn put me onto these.  I looked and they were priced at £80, I looked around and the cheapest I saw them was around £75, I did have a result as I did manage to get them at the time for £40 brand new from a shop on Amazon.

ExtrasThey come with multiple ear buds, as most do but the medium ones seem to fit perfectly, they also come with a cleaning tool, replacement sponges for ear phones, plus a case to keep it all in.  As they do come with the case and all the accessories, this also plays right into my OCD where things have to be in cases etc, so again a perfect fit for me :-)

Would I pay a a lot  for a set of earphones again, to be honest I would.  These have been brilliant.  I would go for another set of the same again, and to me these have been the best.

I was looking at a pair of in-ear beats earphones but most people I asked would not recommend them, they said for the price the sound was not very good at all.

I have looked around and the cheapest I can find them is £70 on Amazon, so if you are looking for a good set of earphones I recommend these, they are expensive but they are worth it.

I am always looking at ways to improve, and so I am always interested in feedback so feel free to add any comments to the site, or you can email me here
