iOS keyboard split and stuck in the middle of the screen

Last night had to do IT support for the Mother in law while away, the keyboard on her iPad mini had spilt and was in the middle of the screen, and she wanted it back as it was.

I pressed, held and dragged the keyboard so it was joined again together, you can also press and hold the keyboard icon on the bottom right.

From there you can then press and hold this key then select Split/Unsplit.

You can also from here click on either Dock or Undock.  Dock will put the keyboard back down to the bottom of the screen, where undock will place it in the middle.
