iPhone 8 spinning wheel stuck

So today my wife messaged me to say her iPhone was frozen on the spinning wheel.  She said she had tried everything to reboot them and nothing worked.

She hadn't tried this trick, which seems to be the one everyone users.  It's a very easy fix, you can see the picture below.

All you need to do is, briefly press the volume up button, then the volume down button, then hold the power button for a couple of seconds and the phone will reboot and you should be back to normal.
