Keyboard shortcuts in Save Dialog Box

This is just a couple of simple keyboard shortcuts you can use while inside the save dialog box within an application on MacOS.

An example of the save dialog can been seen on the right.

For these shortcuts you will need to use the command key, for new mac users, it looks like the picture below.

This first keystroke Command+d will change you to the Desktop so then you can name your file and it will save it there.

This following shortcut will automatically change the location to your home directory, this is Shift+Command+h.

This last one will only work if you are a mobile me user and you have an iDisk, the shortcut to navigate to that is Command+Shift+i.

I am always interested in feedback so feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me  here, also if you would like to submit a quick tip  with full credit and links back to your site then also feel free to contact me.
