Put Your Macbook Pro Display to Sleep

This quick tip has come about recently as I was surfing for the wifes birthday present and I needed to quickly hide the display so she could not see what I was looking at.  As this is a laptop like me, I assume that most of you savvy geeks will have a password set on your laptop so as soon as your screen goes to sleep it prompts you for your password, so no-one can easily get back to see what you were doing.

To simply and quickly put your display to sleep, press the following key combination:

Ctrl+Shift+Eject

I am always interested in feedback so feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me  here, also if you would like to submit a quick tip  with full credit and links back to your site then also feel free to contact me.
