Clearing your Chrome History

These are some very basic instructions on how to clear your cache in Google Chrome.

First off you need to click on the Spanner Icon in the top right hand corner.

Then from there select Options (if you are on windows) or Preferences (If you are on a Mac).

Once you have the preferences screen up, On the left hand side click on "Under the bonnet".  Then press the "Clear Browsing Data" button.

If you want to have a poke around and manually delete some of the information yourself, then on Windows, the locations for the cache are :

XP

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

Vista

%LOCALAPPDATA%\google\chrome\user data\ default

Windows 7

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\
