Anniversary of one of the greatest games ever

So this week, 25th August way back in 1997 one of my favourite games ever was released. That game Goldeneye on the Nintendo N64.

I used to like playing the game as one player and did manage to complete the game, but this really came into it’s own when you played with others, totally different experience. Many a great gaming night was had with two of my friends playing this for ages, there was only one rule and that was no one could be the helicopter pilot.

The happy times of running past the mines you had set, or blowing yourself up with the rocket launcher, the panic where you died and your mates knowing the map so well they find you when you spawn before getting better weapons.

So many great memories with this game and the console.
