The end of Windows 7 Support

The end of Windows 7 Support

So tomorrow, 14th January support will end for Windows 7. So from tomorrow if you are still running this on your machine you will not receive any more security updates, so you could be vulnerable to exploits should they be discovered.

On the BBC, it says that according to StatCounter, 1 in 4 PC’s are running Windows 7.

Microsoft are recommending updating to Windows 10, however depending on the spec of your current machine you may not have the correct specs to be able to run Windows 10. To run this you need a 1GHz processor, 16GB of hard drive space, and 1GB of RAM memory, I would seriously recommend you having an SSD drive as well. On all the machines we have at the current 9-5 we found the performance is not great without the SSD.

I would see about updating your PC as soon as you can.
