ErrorRecently I have been working on a small utility for myself that early each morning, gathers all the information I need for the day and summarises this into one email which I can initially look at before having to drill down further. I can simply lay in bed check one mail for what I have to do for the day before deciding whether or not to hit the snooze button.
One of the actions my automator program does is load the application Omnifocus, gather a list of all the tasks that have a context of Today and save them out to a file.
Initially when I set this up in Automator it would fail at the Omnifocus part each time with the error you see in the subject line.
This error is not exactly helpful, and at first I didn't have much to go on. Within the Automator action there was a tick box which you could select if you wanted, which says "Ask to save Changes". Initially I had this unticked, as I did not want the application to be hanging on this point waiting for input, however with it not selected I was getting the error.
I thought I would tick the box to see if that made a difference, and once selected the program runs perfectly just how I want it.
