iWalk Link 2500i5These are my first impressions of the iWalk portable charger for the iPhone 5/5c/5s. This initially caught my eye as it's small and it's not a case that you have to place onto your phone.
I saw this when I was at the Gadget Show Live Professional show a couple of weeks back. To be honest I was lucky I got this at the show as this was a life saver on the first use. I ran out of battery on the way home and because of the traffic I needed to find an alternate route. I opened the pack, plugged it into the bottom of the phone and instantly it started to charge. From pulling it straight out it was charged and it had enough power to charge my phone fully to 100%.
It has a bar on the front so when you connect you phone you can see how charged up it is so you can sort of work out how much juice it will give to your phone.
It charges simply by Micro USB (cable included in box), it has a blue light when it is charging and it display a green light when it is fully charged.
My initial thoughts are this is perfect for me as it is small, and portable. It has found a spot on my cocoon grid it organiser and I always carry this around. I have found that once you have plugged it into your phone it is best just to leave your phone in that position. I have found if you do move the phone around the connection has moved and it is then not charging your phone.
