I knew this one shortcut to create a new page in Notion from the the browser. Go to the address bar and type notion.new. This then will let you create a page on your main workspace. There is not a way currently (well not that I know of) to place this in a certain place.
However I learnt recently that there are more shortcuts to save some time.
If you are a google user for the suite of products,
cal.new - This will allow you to create a new entry into your Google Calendar
meet.new - This will allow you to create a new Google meet
sheets.new - This will create a new spreadsheet in Google docs
