This is a great tip I learnt recently, on the iPad using the Kindle app you can export all of your nighlights in the books.
There are always bits I like to highlight, good sayings, helpful quotes and code snippets etc. I thought you could only do this on an actual kindle.
When you are in the book, press the icon at the top right which looks like a page, from there you can see all your highlights. Then Click on the box with the up arrow, and then you can share with email, or flashcards.
If you select Email, then you pick your email address, then from there you can get a html attachment, which you can open and see your highlights. It shows the chapter, the page/section and even which colour you used to highlight it.
