Time Machine woes
So today, it’s the first of the month so it is backup day for my MBA. Each month I do a Time Machine backup and a super duper clone.
Time machine seems to be giving more grief each month. Today again I had to tell it to do the backup around 4 times before it actually completed the backup.
Just says preparing backup. I check on it after a short while, nothing has happened it again says last backup 1st January. It seems like I have to click Backup Now on the menu bar and leave that open for it to work, really becoming painful and annoying.
Last month it would not backup at all, so I took the extreme measures of removing it as a backup drive, formatting it then adding it back in as a Time Machine Drive.
I am running High Sierra on a MBA from 2015 it seems to be getting worse each month.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
