So I was reading about an outage the other day where it appears there were many users unable to get into or start their Tesla cars due to an error with the app.
This was only a relatively small outage, but this did seem to have quite an impact.
Not owning a Tesla I would not know but is there any other way people can unlock and start the cars? I mean what if you live in areas where you don’t have a good data signal. Is there another way ?. I am sure that at a place like Tesla the mistakes are few are far between but there can also be issues where technology is involved.
Got to be honest I think it’s pretty cool the Elon Musk himself picked up a tweet, acted on it then responded to the customer who tweeted him
If you are a Tesla owner I would be interested in seeing if you were affected by this or this leaves you with any concerns around this being controlled by an app on your phone.
