Was reading about a Headteacher of a school in China has been fired as he had setup his own mining rig for the crypto-currency Ethereum.
It’s been reported he was told about the excessive electricity before, and he then fobbed them off saying it was the aircon units and other heaters. In total he used the schools supply to the sum of £1600.
There were also reports of the excessive noise being generate by all the fans etc, not sure how he explained that one. He had eight mining rigs running for a year. The deputy head was also in on it getting himself a machine and switching in on in the computer rooms.
