Disk DriveRecently once again I have been having space issues on my iMac, it's seven years old and only has a 320Gb hard drive. Nearly all of this is used by iPhoto and iTunes.
I was running low so started to look around and I came across old iOS upgrade file for the families iOS devices. I had files for upgrading the iPads, iPhones and iPods.
If you look under ~/Library/iTunes/ , You will see
- iPad Software Updates
- iPhone Software Updates
- iPod Software Updates
Inside there you will see the files from the upgrades, these are normally around >1Gb is size.
Again this may only get you back a few Gb but every little helps when you are low on space.
