Fiverr
Recently I have used Fiverr for a couple of small things I wanted to get done but never really find the time, for me this is perfect and for what I wanted, and received I definitely think I got value for money.
Fiverr is the world's largest marketplace for digital services. Get logo design, marketing services, whiteboards and more, starting for around £5 or dollars depending on where you are in the world.
I heard about the site on a podcast, can't remember the exact one, and I wanted a new logo for my karate club, I had one but could not resize it or easily change it. I thought I would test the service to create a new one. When I searched for icon design the first one I cam across was Ntstuan. He was highly recommended, lots of 5 star reviews. The basic package was £4.90 you describe what it is you want and then submit the request. The communication between us was very easy and simple, it gives you a date when it should be completed, then you wait.
He finished my design early and I was impressed at what he did for me, although I wanted a couple for small changes, he done this straight away and sent the other finished products. if you are happy with the finished product you can tip them(Which I did).
Like I mentioned I was happy, so I used his services again to design a new logo I can use for my twitter stream etc as I have had the same one for years, this time I left it all to him, just said design me a new logo for The Geek Blog. Again I am happy with what he has done, what do you think?
There are many different people you can use for a variety of skills, I am thinking of trying out someone for a small programming task, and I am hoping that will go just as well. You can if you have some skills and spare time offer yourself up to help others up as well. With each task there are several options of packages you can choose from.
To me for a small fee you can get these tasks completed that you want to get done but don't always have the time.
