Applescript The Definitive Guide

ApplescriptThis my review of the book Applescript The Definitive Guide from O'Reilly Media.

This to me isn't the best book I have read from O'Reilly, I am a big fan of their books, and is always the place I go to first if I want a technical book.  I would have preferred the book to go straight into learning to code, normally this is done in chapter 1 or the second chapter, but this is a good few chapters before you start learning the code.

I would have preferred more examples of how and where you can use the language more, and have more examples programs you could use and adapt for your own use.

This maybe a better book if you have had a small level of experience in coding in Applescript, but for me it doesn't seem like a beginners guide.

I am always interested in your thoughts so if you have any comments or feedback then please feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me  here.
