Boogie Board JOTThis is my review of the Improv Electronics Boogie Board Jot 8.5 LCD eWriter .
This is very similar to the Boogie Board LCD writing tablet, I have recently reviewed. The main features of the tablet are pretty much the same as the other model, although this is a big improvement on the other one.
Although the writing space is the same size as the other tablet, this one is slightly taller, this is because now the stylus for the tablet is built in to the top of the tablet so you no longer need to clip anything else on, and you don't have to worry about the stylus coming off and being lost.
You can also use the stylus to prop the tablet up, so you can easily leave it resting on a table.
The JOT edition also now has a switch that will prevent the screen from being erased accidentally. Another big change is, you no longer have to place any stickers/magnets onto it so you can stick it to the fridge etc, the JOT now has magnets integrated.
These improvements make the device a lot better than the original Boogie Board Tablet, this is like the Boogie Board 2.0, you can get this version for around £34 on Amazon (links below and above). For the extra couple of pounds it would be well worth getting this version of the tablet.
I am always looking at ways to improve, and so I am always interested in feedback so feel free to add any comments to the site, or you can email me here.
