Windows shortcuts: quick fixes and useful commands
These are a few Windows shortcuts and quick commands that can save time when you are troubleshooting or trying to get something done quickly.
Win + K: connect to a TV wirelessly
Use Win + K to open the Cast / Connect panel.
Typical uses:
Connect to a TV or monitor that supports Miracast.
Connect to a wireless display adapter.
Notes:
Your PC and the TV need to be on the same network.
If your TV does not appear, check that wireless display or screen mirroring is enabled on the TV.
Ctrl + Shift + Win + B: reset graphics driver

The screen is frozen or black.
Display output looks corrupted.

Type word.new into your browser address bar to open a new Microsoft Word document (Microsoft 365).
Tips:
You will need to be signed in to a Microsoft account.
