Download PDF's or webpages direct to your iDevice

GoodreaderBasically the tip allows you to download a pdf direct from your browser and save the file directly to your iDevice.  You can also download a webpage.  To do this you will need the application GoodReader on your device.

One you have found a PDF document you want to read, for example I have a  simple pdf file here :  http://www.geekcomputers.co.uk/docs/evernotedbissue.pdf

All you would need to do in your browser on the iPad is go to the beginning of the hyperlink and add a g.  So now the address will be,

ghttp://www.geekcomputers.co.uk/docs/evernotedbissue.pdf

When you then click on the link you will leave the browser, Goodreader then opens and you can view the PDF in the application, and while you are reading the PDF it will be downloading and saving the file on your iPad.  This works the same way with webpages, so g/ will download the site to your devices

I am always interested in feedback so please feel free to add any comments, or you can mail me  here.  If you would like to submit a quick tip  with full credit and links back to your site then also feel free to contact me.
