So this week there have been a couple of high profile warning about using Kaspersky anti-virus software, the allogations are that this is allowing the Russian government to spy on what you are doing, basically reporting home or even letting them snoop on what you are doing.
On the back of this Barclays who used to offer this software to their customers have now stopped this and removed support for the product as a precaution.
The National Cyber Security Centre is to write to all government departments warning against using the products for systems related to national security, so I presume they do have some evidcence to back this up.
