iPhotoAlong with my other posts recently about cleaning up some space. One place I could have claimed some space back is from the iPod Photo Cache folder. When you use iTunes to sync photos to your idevice, iTunes creates a folder called iPod Photo Cache. The iPod Photo Cache stores photos that are optimised for display on your device.
If you need to free up space on your hard drive, you can remove the iPod Photo Cache folder. Deleting this folder won't remove the original images from your library, and the folder will be recreated the next time you sync Photos with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
To find this folder go to ~/Pictures/ Right click(control click) on your iPhoto Library and click on Show Package Contents. This is the location of the folder, you can then do a get info to see how big this folder is.
