Two kids now at senior school, both with a phone. As you know they are always on the phones, so I thought it best they should alway have the ability to start charged. Not so they can continue to message friends, snapchat, tweet etc, but most imporatantly I can get hold of them when I need to.

So I purchased them each an Anker Power Bank Astro E1 5200 mAh. As well as one of these I got them the Amazon Basics cable, and to store them in a simple basic case.

Each kit was around £21 pound, but at least I know that they will always be able to charge their phones while they are out and about at school should this be required.

I chose the Anker portable charger, as I have used these for years and I have never had a problem with them, ultra reliable.

The devices them selves are easy to charge via micro usb, I will be publishing a review shortly of them.
