Apple Watch Data used in a modern trial
Just reading on the BBC about Apple Watch data has been used in a murder trial in Australia. The victim was a grandmother who was wearing the device at the time.
They have used it to prove she was ambushed as she arrived at her house, and died many hours before her daughter in law claimed, as she is the one who faked the ambush story originally.
As the story is quoted “A watch of this type… contains sensors capable of tracking the movement and rate of movement of the person wearing it... it also measures the heart rate."
If they accept the evidence this could be a first for a smart watch.
